In 2007, several former University of Michigan football players spearheaded an effort to raise money for construction of the new C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Michigan Congenital Heart Center.  Together, they formed the Brian Griese/Steve Hutchinson/Charles Woodson Champions for Children’s Hearts Weekend – an annual dinner and celebrity golf tournament to be held in Ann Arbor May 14-16, 2010.  Lloyd Carr, former U-M Head Football Coach and Brian Griese, ESPN College Football Analyst, former Chicago Bears quarterback and captain of the 1997 National Championship team will be our hosts for the evening and all proceeds will benefit the Brian Griese/Steve Hutchinson/Charles Woodson Champions for Children’s Hearts Weekend.
