Since 2000, Keith Alessi has taught a turnaround management course to the students in the MBA program. Currently, Keith also serves as the President and CEO of Westmoreland Coal Company of Colorado Springs, Co, America’s oldest independent coal company. Prior to that, as CEO of Jackson Hewitt, Inc, he engineered a two year turnaround that resulted in Jackson Hewitt becoming the largest gaining stock in the United States in 1997. Keith holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Since 2003, Jim Price has mentored MBA students through the elective course "Entrepreneurial Studies 615: New Venture Creation”. He has also created and currently teaches the MBA elective, "Entrepreneurial Studies 515: Introduction to Entrepreneurship," as well as the executive education 3-day seminar, "Commercializing Corporate Innovation". Jim
is a veteran technology entrepreneur and CEO with multiple successful
liquidity events to his credit, including an IPO and multiple company
sales
